Zendesk Help Center
Sync Zendesk Help Center articles into a knowledge base so the AI agent answers from them.
Connect Zendesk and pick the Help Center articles the AI agent should read. Chatasist pulls each article's content into a knowledge base, embeds it for retrieval, and re-indexes it when it changes.
Zendesk Help Center sync is available on the Growth plan and above. On Free and Starter, the Integrations menu and this option are hidden.
Connect Zendesk#
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar and click Connect Zendesk on the Zendesk Help Center card.
- Sign in to your Zendesk account and approve access.
- You're returned to the Integrations page with Zendesk listed as Active.
Add articles to a knowledge base#
- Go to Knowledge Base → Create knowledge base, name it, and pick Zendesk Help Center as the type.
- Choose the connection, search for articles, tick them, and click Add selected articles.
Indexing runs in the background; a sync runs about every 10 minutes and re-indexes any article that changed.
Disconnect#
From Integrations → Zendesk Help Center, click Disconnect. The agent stops syncing; already-indexed content keeps working until you remove the sources. Nothing in Zendesk is changed.
Combine your help articles with other knowledge sources for sharper answers.
