Localization
Supported UI languages, content languages, and RTL status.
App (UI) languages#
The Chatasist web app ships in four languages:
| Code | Language |
|---|---|
en | English (default) |
tr | Turkish |
az | Azerbaijani |
ru | Russian |
Each user's language is remembered. The four bundles are kept at parity (~1,700 translation keys each).
Right-to-left (RTL) is not supported yet. All four current locales are left-to-right. Arabic, Hebrew, and other RTL languages are not usable in the UI today.
Website widget interface#
The visitor-facing website widget is translated into the same four languages. Set the
language with the data-chatasist-lang attribute on the embed script (az, en, ru, or
tr) — it localizes the widget chrome (launcher, buttons, placeholders, tab labels, status and
error messages) and is forwarded to the AI agent so replies match. Unsupported values fall back
to English. See Embed the widget for the full snippet.
Content languages#
Distinct from the UI language, content languages control which languages your translatable content can be authored in — widget text, resource names, and similar. Configure them under Settings → Languages (see Org structure). This lets you present localized customer-facing content even in languages the admin UI itself doesn't ship.
