AI-resolution top-ups

Buy extra AI resolutions on top of your plan without upgrading.

If you're running through your monthly AI-resolution quota faster than expected and you don't want to jump to the next plan, you can buy one-time top-up packs. They sit on top of your plan's bundled allowance and only get used once the bundled quota is gone.

How it works#

  • Top-ups are one-time purchases, not a subscription. You pay once, get the credits, done.
  • They're additive: your plan still gives you the same monthly allowance — top-ups are spent only after the bundled quota is fully used.
  • Credits are consumed oldest first, so the pack closest to expiry drains first.
  • Each pack expires 365 days after purchase. Unused credits drop off at that point.
  • Top-ups carry over across monthly resets — a renewal does not waste credits you've already bought.
  • BYOK workspaces don't need top-ups: their AI is uncapped.

Buying a pack#

Head to Settings → Billing and scroll to Buy more AI resolutions. You'll see the available packs with localized pricing. Click Buy to open Paddle's checkout overlay — the same flow you use for your subscription. After payment, the balance is credited to your workspace within a few seconds.

Top-ups are available on the Starter, Growth, Scale, and Enterprise plans. The Free plan doesn't support add-ons — you'll need to start a paid plan first.

Where you can see your balance#

  • The AI resolutions meter on the billing page shows your bundled usage and a green +N badge for the remaining top-up balance.
  • Just below the Buy more AI resolutions cards you'll see a summary of your active packs and the earliest expiry date.

Refunds, downgrades, cancellation#

  • Top-ups are non-refundable once purchased.
  • Already-purchased credits stay valid until their expiry even if you downgrade, pause, or cancel your subscription.
  • Credits do not transfer between workspaces. Each workspace owns its own balance.

When to top up vs upgrade#

A quick rule of thumb:

  • Top up when you're having an unusually busy month or running a one-off campaign and don't want to commit to a higher plan.
  • Upgrade when you're consistently using add-ons month after month — at that point the next plan tier is almost always cheaper per resolution.
